Starting point and challenge
The EU's second round of Large-scale Pilots set its sights on business and payments — cross-border payments, instant payments, account-to-account transfers, and legal representation. With nearly 200 organizations across Europe needed to test and deploy these use cases, the initiative required technology partners who could contribute both expertise and production-ready infrastructure.
Solution
Procivis joined WE BUILD as a beneficiary partner, directly contributing to three of the thirteen use cases covering business wallets and payment scenarios. Alongside this, Procivis serves as one of the consortium's technical providers, making Procivis One available for implementation across all use cases in the pilot.
Result
WE BUILD runs for 24 months from September 2025, led by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK), and Bolagsverket Sweden. For Procivis, participation in both roles — beneficiary partner and technical provider — means contributing directly to how eIDAS 2.0-compliant wallet infrastructure for business and payments takes shape across Europe.
