Daniel Gasteiger

Daniel Gasteiger has worked in financial services for more than 20 years. Starting as an FX trader at Credit Suisse, he later joined UBS to work with hedge funds and third-party banks promoting UBS’ business-to-business API solutions and Prime Brokerage services. In his last role at UBS, he served as the Managing Director to the office of the Chairman of the Board. His fascination for Blockchain technology led to the decision to become an entrepreneur in 2015, since then he co-founded various start-ups in the Swiss blockchain ecosystem and leads Procivis since 2016 as co-founder, CEO and Chairman.

Daniel Link

Daniel Link is CEO of the Orell Füssli Group based in Zürich. Before joining Orell Füssli, he was holding CEO positions for about 10 years in technology companies in the machinery and electronics industry. His main focus was on business transformation, innovation and business development in Asia. He also has experience in the field of M&A and strategy development acquired during his time in the corporate development department of Rieter, a Swiss stock listed company in the textile machinery industry. From 1994 to 2007 he was working in the semiconductor industry in several R&D and product management functions. Daniel holds a MSc degree in Microtechnology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne and an Executive MBA degree from the University of St.Gallen.

Désirée Heutschi is Head of Corporate Development / M&A at Orell Füssli Group based in Zurich. Before joining Orell Füssli in 2020, Désirée was CEO of Swiss Startup Factory, an innovation consulting and venture building company in Zurich. Previously to this, she held various management positions at Microsoft Switzerland with a focus on digital transformation in various customer segments. From 2000 to 2004, she worked for Genesys in San Francisco in the area of business development and strategy. Désirée holds an Executive Master of Business Law from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a Master in International Relations from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Internationales (HEIP) in Paris.

Next to expertise in finance, he also has experience in M&A transactions, business transformation and project management. Reto holds a Master degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).

Christian Pirkner is a serial entrepreneur, expert for mobile payment technologies, start-up coach and investor. His latest endeavor is building up a European mobile payment system. Christian serves as Executive Chairman of Bluecode and is Chairman of the European Mobile Payment Systems Association (EMPSA). He gained extensive business experience as company founder and CEO in the Silicon Valley with a strong focus on product management, strategy and business development in the area of digital media technologies. Christian holds a Dr. in Finance from the New York University (NYU) and University of St. Gallen (HSG).
